About Us

 

The Animal Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue and adoption group in New York City. Dedicated to finding cats and kittens their loving, forever homes, Carol Moon and volunteers have run the organization for over 15 years. We work in and around the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

In 2024 alone, we have already helped find permanent homes for over 150 cats!

Upcoming Events

We are partnered with the Petco Foundation and host adoption events every Saturday from 2–6pm at the store on 92nd St and Broadway. There, you can meet our cats in person and chat with Carol and volunteers.
